Welcome to the official web site for the Greater Kansas City Cellarmasters Club.  The  Cellarmasters Club is an organization dedicated to encouraging the appreciation of wine, fostering the knowledge of home wine making, promoting the responsible use of wine, and educating wine tasters, home wine makers, and viticulturists.  The club was the brainchild of Pete and Carolyn McMasters, who, in 1974, decided that making homemade wine did not necessarily have to be a solo effort enjoyed alone. The first meeting was held in Pete and Carolyn’s basement wine cellar, and included Pete, Carolyn, and four close friends.
